Last night was the Giangrossi ice cream despedida.  We had lots of fun and ingested large amounts of sugar, and then the sad goodbyes came.
But here are some pictures of the fun times.

2 finals down! 2 more to go...

In 7 days I will be reading books in English and hanging out with friends here...

But until then, I have to do this.

Oh, and today I learned how to make gazpacho; so if you want some when I get back, just let me know.  It's a refreshing summer treat.

I will be glad when I am once again in charge of my eating habits.  Tonight, Emilia gave me a large plate of spaghetti followed by a plate with five hot dogs (no buns) and potato chips and then of course the usual piece of fruit (tonight a kiwi).  I have to eat everything or else I get reprimanded like the other night.  A few nights ago, I couldn't finish my food so Emilia told me this story about a man she knew that had a stubborn donkey.  The donkey didn't eat that much, and the man thought he could save some money by feeding the donkey less.  So each day he fed the donkey less and less b/c it didn't need to eat as much to feel full.  Then Emilia asked me, "Anali do you know what happened to that donkey? (pause) That donkey died."  A very motivational story, at least it motivates me to finish all my food.
